POLYPROPYLENE: CHEAP AND PRACTICAL

Polypropylene is ideal for garden furniture: light, very easy to maintain, it is relatively resistant to bad weather but will need to be stored away from frost during the cold season. Indeed the gel will tend to weaken the polypropylene and make it more brittle. Also watch out for UV rays which can sometimes cause the color to fade slightly over the long term.
The variety of shapes and colors is also an advantage in terms of exterior decoration: choose discreet colors (white, anthracite, green, beige …) for a sober decoration, or on the contrary let yourself be seduced by the colors flashy or pastel to bring a colorful and summery touch to your garden.

INJECTED POLYPROPYLENE: HIGH-END PLASTIC FOR BETTER STRENGTH

For greater strength, choose injected polypropylene: this technology completely eliminates air bubbles from the material. This avoids the points of weakness sometimes responsible for premature aging of your plastic furniture.
Garden furniture made from injected polypropylene is much more resistant to frost and will have a longer lifespan.

BRAIDED RESIN: AESTHETIC AND RESISTANT

Flat or round, with a tight or openwork braiding, a solid or mottled color, the resin allows many aesthetic variations. It makes it possible to obtain furniture in a modern or on the contrary very traditional
style. It sometimes recalls the vintage and natural charm of rattan but has the advantage of being much more resistant: resistant to humidity, sun, and temperature variations, it will have a much longer lifespan.
The resin dyed in the mass will have a solid color that is more resistant over time, while a resin that is not tinted in the mass will be able to evolve like a pair of jeans and will take a beautiful patinated appearance. Some models are made in resins with slightly mottled colors to increase the illusion of natural fiber.
Choose a round resin for an imitation of natural rattan, or a flat woven resin for a more graphic effect.

RATTAN FURNITURE: VINTAGE AND NATURAL

The unique and romantic design of natural rattan gives rattan furniture a unique aesthetic. Rattan can be treated or not for the outside: some pieces of furniture are to be protected from bad weather (ideal for a veranda or a covered terrace for example), while others can find their place in the garden.
Traditionally worked with a natural and colorless finish, rattan is now adorned with colorful and modern shades to vary styles like Security Gate In Melbourne .

OUTDOOR TEXTILES

POLYESTER

Polyester makes it possible to make outdoor furniture at very affordable prices. Its low price can furnish all gardens, but be aware that the color will lose its shine more quickly than with a high-end textile (see below). We therefore recommend that you store your polyester items under cover during the cold season or when not in use: this will give them a longer lifespan.

TEXTILENE

This synthetic fiber is made of a polyester blend that is resistant to bad weather and UV rays.

BATYLINE

Batyline is top-of-the-range textilene: this fabric offers great resistance to mold, humidity and sea water. It does not fade and is very resistant to UV
Its flexibility allows good comfort and its maintenance is easy.

OLEFIN

It is a high quality synthetic fiber. It has the advantage of being particularly strong, resistant to fading, UV rays and abrasion. It dries quickly and is breathable.
Comfortable and light, the Olefin does not peel and is very resistant to mold and bad weather, as well as to perspiration.

SUNPROOF

This is a slightly higher density Olefin fiber. It is perfectly resistant to intense light.

SUNBRELLA

Synthetic acrylic fiber, Sunbrella has great resistance to fading and UV rays thanks to its color dyed in the mass.
It is resistant to rot and mold, as well as sea water.
Easy to clean, it is also comfortable: breathable, it does not heat up or stick, it keeps its flexibility and does not peel.
It is a very high quality fiber.

FOAMS FOR CUSHIONS AND SEATS

STANDARD FOAM

The standard foam used for the cushions of outdoor furniture is relatively resistant to humidity, and in many cases it is coated with a water-repellent fabric that will protect it. However, it is better to store your cushions away from humidity and bad weather, especially during the cold season, because otherwise they risk being damaged prematurely.

QDF (QUICK DRY FOAM) OR FAST DRY

Quick Dry Foam or Fast Dry is a fast-drying foam: it is very resistant to humidity and bad weather.
Its very fast drying allows it to be used even after getting wet.
This is very practical for your comfort, but also to considerably extend the life of your cushions.
